Webley & Scott Mk3 Target Pistol .22LR
This is one of the later pieces built with the thumb rest plastic target grip. The bore in the 9 3/4″ barrel rates as excellent plus. Mounted with a ramp front and adjustable target rear sights,it has Parkerized finish on the barrel, blue frame and excellent grips. The trigger guard also acts as the barrel release.
The Webley single-shot target pistol was introduced in 1909 for competition shooters. With various design improvements, production continued at least into the early 1960s. In 1979 the company stopped manufacturing most firearms (it continues to manufacture shotguns, air rifles, and air pistols). Over the decades, nearly all of these pistols were chambered in .22LR.
