Portuguese Mauser-Vergueiro 8x57 Sporter

This Portuguese Mauser-Vergueiro has been fitted with an aftermarket Walther barrel, a lamintaed stock, Scope mounts and rings and the bolt handle has been "spooned" Mannlicher style.

The 4x32 Tasco World Class scope fitted to it is functional although looks a bit "huckery", and the owner stated the left/right adjustment is back to front (which is why he ,marked the scope as per pics).

The owner is eldely and the 8x57 is too much for him now.

This is still a functional hunting rifle, a cheap rifle for someone. very popular classic cartridge and rifle in the day.
