Carl Gustav Swedish Mauser Sporter 6.5x55

Tidy Swedish Mauser, has cut down stock (no top wood) but original barrel length.

Barrel has rifling but is dark. Reciever has been drilled and taped for scope bases at some stage, but still has original open sights.

These were classic hunting rifles for many new hunters in the "old days". The 6.5x55 is as good or better than the 6.5 Creedmoor. This is still a good funtional bush rife, cheap first rifle for someone to get out in the hills - easy to add a scope
